You need to find a cue maker, or a person with a lathe that has cue stick holders already constructed.

A new Ferrule will be attached (glued, typically, although some ferrules are screwed and glued ot the shaft tenon), the tip of the cue faced (flat and perpendicular) and then the ferrule will be cut to match the profile on the cue shaft.

Finally a new tip is glued on, trimmed, and shaped on the lathe.

You can get it done right by taking Mitchs advice. You may have to go on the internet to find a company or cue maker that does that work. I have one important piece of advice: If it is a cheap cue do not waste your money on a new ferrule and tip. Put your pennies away until you can get a decent cue that will already have what you want.
