Identify 5 piece stick with an inlaid blue dot ?
Hello. I am not a pool player and know zilch about the cues and their qualities or makers. However, I have become the owner of 3 vintage sticks and wonder if anybody here might be able to help me identify ?
The first one breaks down to 5 seperate pieces, and each piece is 11 1/2 inches long. The fittings on it are brass. The "bottom" piece has two inlaid blue circles/dots - on the same end but opposite sides of the stick. The next piece has 3 inlaid MOP dots on each end with a yellow and black wrap in-between. The third piece has a design in the wood that is repeated in the first piece. The 4th and 5th pieces are plain. So there is a total of 6 MOP dots on the 2nd piece and 2 blue dots on the 1st. There are no hallmarks/signatures or numbers on any of it. The only info I have on the stick is that the last owner was some pool shark dude out of San Fransisco and he is now dead, so I cannot ask him.
From the same person I also have a stick that is two pieces and the bottom 1/2 is carved with flowers and lots of inlaid MOP dots.
I have included pics of both. Thank you for any assist you can offer. smiles !
