Pool Cue Identification - Shark Brand?

I see two old posts on here with the same brand logo. No one seemed to know, but as it was the only other place I could find photos of this logo, I figured it was worth a shot. I'm trying to buy an old McDermott for sale locally.. I actually just want that one, but they're throwing this Shark cue in as well for more, and I'm wondering if it's decent, or firewood.

It seems like it may have been altered/extended at some point in it's life, which indicates it isn't total garbage? Any info on the brand would be great, as I'm quite curious now.
