Played Scotch Doubles Partners for Money
I actually played for money the other day but not my money. The fellow who is largely responsible for getting me into pool and teaching me a lot of what I know staked us both in a scotch doubles 9 ball game last week.
It was odd how well we meshed together. Admittedly, neither of us are the break and run out type, but in the short race to 5 that we played, we broke and ran the table twice with each other.

I can honestly say I hate playing doubles with anyone. I don't like coming off the table and relying on anyone else.
A-Train on 5/14/2007 6:37:00 PMI enjoy doubles to some degree. Only if my partner knows what he's doing and how to accommodate my style as I would him.
If you can't mesh with your doubles partner, it will never work at the pool table.
