Room Size for a Bumper Pool Table

We want to fit a bumper pool table into our dining room. The 3 in 1 style... the room is 11'5" wide x 13'5"ft long.

Will a 54" work? Also.. what is the BEST size to buy an octagonal bumper pool table in? 48 or 54?
