7 Foot Pool Table in a 12' X 16' Room

Looking to get a pool table. My room is 12' x 16'. I know it is a little small for an 8' table, I think it would be doable with a small cue sometimes, but I am considering a 7 foot table. Any feedback, are they just to small, or are they OK for home use?

   I don't see a problem with a 7 foot home table. Brtter then no table at all!

   Thanks, I think I am going to look for a used 7 foot. A bar down the road has one, so I am going to stop by and shot a few games on it.
