Olhausen Pool Tables Compared to KGI?

Olhausen Pool Tables Compared to KGI?

I was looking at KGI & American Heritage pool tables. From the forums on American Heritage I understand it is not worth buying. I had a strong recommendation for KGI from a friend. Another friend mentioned Olhausen tables are very good and are reasonably priced. Has anybody compared Olhausen & KGI tables? I want to buy it ASAP. Please answer me at your earliest convenience.

No one seems to have a opinion about these tables. I have been a Brunswick person only because they seem to be the only table here in the Mid West pool halls. I did what I do, a search, and found some information on Olhausen tables and KGI tables and I would suggest you do the same. I think in the end the one with the best fit and finish and features like ball returns or pocket fit as well as best warranty would be the one to chose. Slate thickness and wood type are also important. Depending on where the table is set up there may be issued with settling and I would want a free relieving to be part of the deal. My father was a Cabinet Maker so partial board would not be used in my table. I'm guessing this will be your first and perhaps last table you will ever buy? I have played on tables where the pockets where held in place with staples? The installation is the IMHO the 1st and 2nd most important thing and I would be there and oversee the set up. You may also wish to speak with the owner or manager then go with your gut feeling. It has always worked for me. Why is there always time to do things twice but never time to do it right the first time? Good Luck.

Find a Golden West Billiards dealer in your area. If you can't email me @ grgonline@yahoo.com and I'll sell you one and find the right service guy in your area to set it up. You can set it up with my help if your handy. Billiardmfg.com is Golden West's website, take a look at it. If you can find a better table for less money I will buy the other brand for you myself!
