Hi just started looking at pool tables and am debating between slate and non-slate tables. Im just wondering the pros and cons of non-slate tables. What are non-slate tables made of and why are they so much cheaper.

   I have been researching that to and I found out real quick slate is the only was to go. Price that ones real easy. Jjunk particle board is real cheap compare to slate.
