Cuetec Pool Cues

Cuetec Pool Cues

Was wondering if anyone in here has used Cuetec cues and if so, what is your opinion of them?

The price ranges seem fair but how does the protective coating effect feel and does the coating make the shaft less slippery or rather cause more friction than an untreated shaft.

i have used them before, and did not like them at all. They just have too little feel for me. the coating is kind of a give and take. if you play in a bar or somewhere that you might get your cue banged around or dropped on the floor, they might be for you, but on the other hand, the shaft wont be as smooth as a regular wood shaft. I havent heard of any way to make a Cuetech shaft smoother. as far as I know you can't use cue slickers on them, and some chemicals might damage the fiberglass. just my opinion, I would pass on these, unless you are new to the game and just starting.

    Thanks Snipershot

I was wondering about the fiber glass coating . Had an opportunity to speak to a buddy that had tired one and he said it was ok but liked the wood feel better. I was just curious as they seemed to be something quite different.

    Take care , Houstonguy

Whats up with being labeled a "forum lurker" I thought the meaning of lurker was someone who just read the posts but never joined or posted.
