Clean Snooker Balls Make a Big Difference

I did discover the importance of clean balls playing the other day also. Something mentioned in John Schmidt's video. We started off playing a few racks when I asked and received a clean bar rag. Neither of us could muster more then a 4 - 5 ball run playing straight pool.

We found that the snooker balls were sticking together, so we cleaned all the balls and suddenly the balls started to open up on the breaks. Runs into the teens for both of us. Later we had several 20's and 3 or 4 40+ ball runs.

Lesson learned. Make sure you clean your snooker balls.

    I think I'll do that tomorrow night before the playoff. Sounds like a good idea. Throw the other team off.

    Let them get used to the table before cleaning the balls.
