Meucci 21st Century Series Cues Info
Info on the Meucci 21st Century Series Cues
The Meucci 21st Century series is the first full-line of pool cues released by Meucci after the 97 series. It debuted around 2008, a full 10 years after the launch of the Meucci 97 series, and is still being produced and sold 11 years later into the latter half of 2019.
The 21st Century 21-3 cue is by-far the most popular cue in the series. This is evidenced by the sheer amount of these you see on the secondary market, as well as by the number of variations and special limited editions that Meucci has made of this design (see below).
Though there are six main cues on offer in the Meucci 21st Century line, the company has done several special releases within this series, and several variations and bizzaro 21st Century cues exists. Most notably are the following (links above):
Custom forearm and butt sleeve materials (wood instead of white synthetic material):
Cocobolo Meucci 21-03 Pool Cue - A cocobolo wood version of the Meucci 21-3 pool cue. 5 or 6 of these have been made, all with very slight variations in stain color. Meucci, and the dealers often refer to them as "1 of 1" because the stain differs slightly among them.
Custom design to match the Meucci Carbon Fiber shaft:
Meucci 21-3-C Carbon Cue - A black colored Meucci 21-3 cue with white pearl inlays, designed to match the look of the new Meucci carbon fiber shaft.
Custom Meucci 21-6 Cue
Bizzaro Meucci 21-6 Pool Cue - A "1 of 1" - A custom 6-Point Meucci 21-6 Pool Cue Signed by Bob (Normally, the 21-6 comes as a 3-point cue). A gallery of this cue is found in the Meucci ME2106 cue product page linked above.
Custom Meucci 21-6 Cue with Extra Ringwork - A custom Meucci 21st Century #6 cue with additional detailed ring work near the butt cap, and at each end of the wrap (instead of just near the joint collar as in the standard Meucci 21-6 cue).
There are also a number of Meucci 21st Century Factory 2nd cues floating around out there with various degrees of blemishes and completeness.
