Identify Pool Cue with Initials "CP" on Butt

Identify Pool Cue with Initials "CP" on Butt

Can anyone help identify this pool cue with the letters CP?

I got this pool cue from a good friend and I can’t find any information about it anywhere.

All he told me is that it was a fine pool cue.

I am not sure, but I think it is a Craig Peterson cue.

You got it, but the last name is spelled Craig Petersen.

He made cues in Chicago, IL from 1962 to 1995.

This is a later example with the "CP" logo.

In general, Craig Petersen cues are fairly valuable to cue collectors.

In fact, it seems this exact Craig Petersen cue sold on eBay for $3550 USD in October 2019. Is it your cue?

For sale is a VERY RARE CRAIG PETERSEN (CP) Pool Cue. Condition is of course Used but near perfect, no flaws or scratches of any kind, very rare very collectible, probably the only one for sale on eBay, definitely a must have for any Petersen or Rare cues collector, it has two tips, cue is straight as an arrow, included in the sale is a vintage Fellini case, I got this cue from an old family friend, I don’t play pool so I have no need for it, I’ve done some research and found out this are not vey often available , don’t let this one get away
